ruuhi: translation; my soul
Established in 2026, Ruuhi was born from a feeling many of us know well, of never quite seeing ourselves reflected in the fashion industry around us. For years, we stood in changing rooms, holding up clothes we loved, quietly working out what we'd need to layer or adjust just to make mainstream fashion work, while modest fashion offered little beyond modest staples and evening wear, worn once and forgotten. We wanted to create something that bridged this gap.
For us, modesty was never meant to be an afterthought or a boundary. It's a foundation. Not a category we design for. The principle we design from. Every piece stands on its own. Considered on its own. Made to be styled your way, and lived in fully.
We believe in a slower, more intentional approach to consumption: fewer pieces, chosen well, built to carry you through seasons, not moments.
We design for the girls who dress by instinct, not expectation.
This is the wardrobe we always wished existed.
